Community Betterment Plan

The Sigourney City Council has developed a Community Betterment Plan to spend the Local Option Sales and Services Tax monies in ways that will benefit the community. As projects are accomplished they will be displayed on this page.

The development of this web page is one of the projects being funded. Funds from the Community Betterment Plan were also used to pay for the costs of the demolition of the old middle/high school located on East Washington Street .

As projects are approved they will be added to this page. If you have questions, please call the City Clerk’s Office at 641-622-3080.
