Mayor Pat Miletich

I have served on the City Council since February 2000, when I was appointed to fill a vacancy. I have been a member of all of the standing committees and have served as chair of the Park and Recreation committee, the Water committee, the Street and Sanitation committee and the Police and Housing committee. I have served three years as mayor pro-tem under former mayor John I. Ballensky and was appointed Sigourney’s first woman mayor in December 2006. It is an honor to serve my community in this capacity.

I have lived in Sigourney since 1965 and retired in 2006 from teaching at the Sigourney High School. I am a mother of two and Nana to five. I am a member of the Sigourney Christian Church, Chapter L., P.E.O., Sigourney Healthy Environment Project (SHEP), Area 15 Regional Planning Commission, and RPA 15 Policy Board.

I am committed to the continuous effort to make Sigourney a great place to live now and in the future.
